For the 6th consecutive year PO'Sh Creative sponsored and supported The NSPCC
Ball 2018. The NSPCC team based at Boole House, Coventry supports vulnerable children in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Throughout the UK, there are currently over 58,000 children identified as needing protection from abuse and around 1 in 5 children have been exposed to domestic abuse.
Practitioners at Boole House, work with groups of children to assess their safety and provide much needed support and they are currently piloting 'Steps to Safety', an intervention programme to help families living with domestic abuse. 'Turn the Page' sessions are also in place, to support children who are likely to become adult offenders, using a range of therapies to get to the root cause of their behaviours and then help them to address it.
Each year PO'Sh Creative fully supports the cause, designing the event collateral, taking part in the fundraising games, auctions and pledged money to the charity. This year was no different; and although the diamond challenge wasn't successful, PO'Sh successfully bid and took home a set of retro modern Raleigh ladies bikes and a signed Liam Gallagher photograph!
