A PO'Sh 2018

    Website Editor • Dec 18, 2018

It's been quite a year at PO'Sh - from exhibitions to rebrands, festivals to picnics... we've really packed it in!

Thank you to all of our suppliers, clients and supporters! We could quite literally not do this without you!

Most importantly Good Things (did) Happen :)

Here's a few of the highlights...

Ranting & Raving with a quirky new Animation

We were delighted to be approached by the quite simply brilliant Rant & Rave (a customer engagement solutions provider in Warwickshire). Their brief was to create a video with a difference; a quirky showpiece that could be used at events and sales pitches to highlight their Four Key Points of Difference and communicate their brand.

We decided to go bold with the colour scheme and use only a trio of colour throughout - black, blue and white. We wanted to create a look and feel that had impact and was wholly representative of Rant & Rave. We kept the narrative fun and interesting too - using a simple 'dot' as the main focus point which gave the animation a clean feel, yet still detailed a journey and portrayed a meaningful narrative that draws you in.

TAKE A LOOK and watch the animation below :)

Feeling positively magnetic at the UKRC Exhibition in July!

Our wonderful client Alliance Medical invited us to see our work in the flesh, and join them at the UKRC (Radiological and Radiation Oncology Congress). We were thrilled with how our stand design turned out - a colourful and spectacular spectacle that really got people talking and engaging. We also produced water-bottles, pens, bags, brochures and t-shirts to perfectly promote them.

Alliance were there to promote their services, but also to recruit - so we designed them a stand that was dual purpose and followed the themes and tone we've been introducing for them all year. We wanted to help them move away from clinical whites and blues and really showcase their personality and friendly, progressive, innovative vibe. #ourkindofpeopleyourkindofjob. Thanks for a wonderful trip to Liverpool!

Don't cup back in anger with OAS-IS at Napton Festival

PO'Sh couldn't wait to support our home town and sponsor the 'reusable stackable cups' for our favourite local event - Napton Festival. We promoted our brand, supported the charity and enjoyed some excellent music. Win win! Napton festival made us feel like VIPs for the day and we made the most of the glorious sunshine, glitter tatoos and of course filling up those cups... we've still got ours, hope you have too!

    What is Napton Festival?

Napton Festival has been running for over 10 years (started one night in the pub by our Creative director Jan Patalong) and is now a long standing charity event which hosts a variety of great live music acts and this years headliners Oas-is were no exception! Napton Festival is now run by a hardworking and dedicated committee who help bring music to young people in and around Warwickshire - from providing new guitars, music lessons, bursaries and equipment for schools. Investing our time in Orbit's Investors Presentation

The directors of our long standing client Orbit came to us for support back in June to help them create a presentation that would help them to secure funding for new affordable housing. A great project for us! #Goodthingshappen

We started out on the 50 page document and worked around the clock to ensure it was nothing short of perfect. The extensive and in-depth financial data was required to be accurate to the highest precision and this meant liaising with some top players in the big banks too. The pressure was certainly felt on this project, but we of course kept our cool and got it done with style. See the client's feedback below...

    They said:

"Thank you for all the good work you did on our IP. It must have been very gruelling, putting through the numerous edits, but it paid off. We raised £450m yesterday, and I’m sure that’s in no small part due to the quality of our presentation."

Look at our PO'Sh new look!

So we finally found the time to refresh our own brand this year... whoohoo! But did you notice? Perhaps not, it's a subtle change, but a much needed one as we say goodbye to our 2011 founding logo and hello to a fresh new look for 2018.

We have a new colour scheme, brand pattern and font set, as well as our modernised and very cool new logo... if we do say so ourselves! :-)

And now of course we've launched our new website too - YES!!! and you're reading it now whoop!

And there was even more branding to be done...

Branding is something we love getting stuck into and we've had some fun challenges this year with ongoing projects with Envisage , Gas data, Hevans Salon and IDP to name just a few. To take a look at just some of the branding work we've completed this year, hop on over to our brand new Branding section.

    Feeling perky at PO'Sh

This year we decided to launch a brand new #poshperk - the team had been working so hard we introduced a new tradition to the studio to help us all let our hair down every now and then - an end of the month PO'Sh picnic. :)

    How it works?
Every month we'll try out a new venue in town for a two hour team lunch date. That way we can catch up, bond, eat really good food and remember to take that well-earned break.

So far - we've visited Jephson Gardens for sandwiches and ice lollies in the glorious sunshine, indulged ourselves with a Cuban inspired lunch and the strongest coffee at Habano Comidas Cubanas which was delicious; and most recently we've tucked into the naughtiest flavour packed burgers from Libertine Burger ...and we may have had a Basement Browns pizza.... or two!

After all, food fuels the mind right?!

    Feeling unbeatable at Wasps.

We were thrilled to be asked to design a campaign for O'Brien's fabulous new sponsorship opportunity at the Ricoh arena in Coventry - home to WASPS RFC.

The client wanted to promote two of their companies Contractors and Sports in the one space - which was a challenge that we rose to. In fact you might say we raised our game ;-)

Our new campaign focused on the high quality of service O'Brien offer and that they are specialists in sports construction. We used the conjoining line to bring the two logos/companies into one and show that together they can help you 'Raise your game' whether that a new football pitch, tennis court or hockey pitch - O'Brien offer unbeatable sports construction. We designed score boards, digital signs, programme adverts, posters and stadium-side boards to give them a strong presence at the games.

Peter O’Brien, said: “It is a great opportunity for O’Brien to be associated with a prestigious club such as Wasps. We hope the campaign at the ground will enlighten and encourage people to think of O’Brien Sports and O’Brien Contractors when they need any advice on sports and civils projects.”

A day in the life of PO'Sh...

Or in Anna's case 10 days with our team, as she carried out her work experience placement. Anna was a welcomed addition to the PO'Sh team and tackled all the tasks that we threw at her with creativity and professionalism. We were so impressed with her work ethic, speed and writing skills. Anna wrote several blogs, put together social media plans, project managed a job in the studio, sat in on meetings, came with us to Liverpool and even gave one of our clients a grilling during a filmed interview to help him myth bust his brand. Well done Anna!
